Join Us in Preventing Suicide and Boosting Mental Well-being

September 10 marks the beginning of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Here at Henry J. Austin Health Center (HJAHC), we’re committed to supporting mental well-being and helping those in need of services.

Our Behavioral Health Team offers counseling and therapy to help individuals cope and recover. We collaborate with other medical professionals for a holistic approach. The team creates a safe space for individuals to openly express their thoughts and emotions, helping them find effective coping strategies. They collaborate closely with other medical providers, therapists, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to mental health. By addressing both physical and emotional well-being, we empower individuals to achieve lasting recovery.

Human connection is important, so we offer support groups for sharing and support. In times of crisis, if you or someone you know is struggling, call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 for immediate help, available 24/7.

We believe every life matters. Our commitment to Suicide Prevention Awareness stands strong, offering support and healing. If you are interested in seeing a member of our Behavioral Health Team, we welcome you to visit www.henryjaustin.org/service/behavioral-and-social-health or call 609-278-5900.
