Drew Hopkins

Director of Information Technology

Prior to joining Henry J. Austin Health Center in April 2020, Mr. Hopkins served as Chief Information Officer at Thomas Edison State University located in Trenton, NJ. During his tenure as the CIO, Mr. Hopkins served on several technology advisory boards, including Cisco System, Ellucian and Touchnet Systems.

While at Thomas Edison State University, Mr. Hopkins led the design and delivery of the Computer Assisted Lifelong Learning Network (CALL Network) in 1989. This first-of-its-kind application provided students with remote access to University courses over a nation-wide computer network. Additionally, he was responsible for the design and build-out of the University Network Infrastructure, along with oversight of the New Jersey State Library Technical Support staff.

Mr. Hopkins completed his baccalaureate degree from The College of New Jersey.
