Luz Godbold

Board Member

Luz Godbold is a dedicated bilingual education professional with over two decades of experience supporting students, families, and schools in Trenton, New Jersey. A graduate of Trenton Central High School, Luz has built a career grounded in community service, student advocacy, and family engagement. 

She currently serves as Parent Liaison at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, where she fosters positive relationships between families and school staff, promotes parent involvement, and ensures clear communication through her Spanish-English language fluency. Luz previously worked as a paraprofessional at Monument Intermediate School, where she supported student learning and served as a translator for Spanish-speaking families.   

Luz is passionate about helping families navigate the educational system and access resources to support their children’s growth.
