Lakeishia Cooper

Director of Nursing

Ms. Cooper is a Registered Nurse, with a degree in nursing science from Jersey College and brings over 25 years of nursing experience. Ms. Cooper’s nursing career starting at St. Mays Medical Center in Langhorne, PA as a Telemetry Nurse and nurse preceptor of Cardiac Arrhythmias. As a Trentonian, Ms. Cooper wanted to give back and served her community’s healthcare needs as a community health nurse. Ms. Cooper is currently serving HJAHC for the past 12 years as a staff nurse, nurse manager and most recently assumed the role of Director of Nursing. She received certification in guided care nursing from John Hopkins University. She is an Active member of American Nurses Association and American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing. Participating in various community health fairs and events, she has worked on many initiatives focused on improving patient satisfaction.

Ms. Cooper’s philosophy is to learn as much as you can from every experience life has to offer.
