Poonam Kalaria joined Henry J. Austin Health Center as a 340B Manager in September 2021 and assumed the role of Director of Pharmacy Services in 2023. She is an accomplished pharmacist leader with over a decade of experience in pharmacy operations and patient care. Poonam excels in regulatory compliance, clinical proficiency, and effective team leadership. Her expertise encompasses data analysis, collaborative communication, and adept problem-solving. Notably, she demonstrated exceptional leadership as CVS Health’s Pharmacist-In-Charge, achieving outstanding store performance and earning the Paragon Award in 2013 and 2014.

Poonam holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University and is a licensed NJ Registered Pharmacist and NJ Immunization Pharmacist. With certifications in Diversity in Clinical Trials and Basic Life Support, Poonam’s commitment to excellence is evident in her professional achievements and her volunteer endeavors. She is dedicated to positively impacting pharmaceutical care and inspiring positive change in herself and others. Her dedication extends beyond the professional realm, as she enjoys embarking on family adventures in nature and experimenting with new culinary creations.
