Mayra Cruz obtained her Master’s in Public Health from Drexel University and Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare and Criminal Justice from Bloomsburg University. Mayra worked at the Public Health Management Corporation for eleven years in the Philadelphia area as a Supervisor for Support Coordinators working to enhance the quality of life for Developmentally Disabled and Medically Fragile Children. In the year of 2013, Mayra joined Capitol County Children’s Collaborative, a Care Management Organization in Mercer County, NJ, and she currently serves as the Operations Manager. She manages the Behavioral Home Health (BHH) Program and Juvenile Court System. In addition, Mayra conducts Wraparound training for new hires and oversees a team that helps Care Manager’s implement the Wraparound Model. Mayra has worked in the field providing direct support and resources to the community for twenty plus years and considers it a “calling” to be able to help assist families and youths. Mayra has a heart to serve and strives to help others enhance their quality of life.
