El Centro de Salud Henry J. Austin lleva la atenci\u00f3n al paciente directamente a la comunidad con su Unidad de Salud M\u00f3vil (MHU). Presentando con orgullo la frase \"Wheels to Wellness\", el objetivo de la MHU es la atenci\u00f3n integral de los pacientes. Ofrece servicios de atenci\u00f3n primaria, salud conductual, odontolog\u00eda para familias y medicina familiar. Seg\u00fan Mobile Health Map, una comunidad de investigaci\u00f3n colaborativa, s\u00f3lo hay algo m\u00e1s de 2.000 cl\u00ednicas m\u00f3viles activas en el pa\u00eds, que atienden sobre todo a personas sin seguro y con seguro p\u00fablico en comunidades de bajos ingresos.<\/p>\n<p>Un miembro del equipo de la Unidad M\u00f3vil de Salud explica: \"Podemos administrar vacunas COVID-19, ex\u00e1menes preventivos, ex\u00e1menes f\u00edsicos anuales para ni\u00f1os en edad escolar, ex\u00e1menes dentales, y tambi\u00e9n compartir los recursos de la comunidad y programar a los pacientes para los servicios del centro de atenci\u00f3n. Pueden venir enfermos o simplemente con preguntas.<\/p>\n<p>El MHU cuenta con una subvenci\u00f3n para el Sitio de Servicio Basado en la Escuela (SBSS, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) que permite visitas a escuelas seleccionadas en el \u00e1rea de Trenton: PJ Hill Elementary, Gregory Elementary, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary y Mott Elementary. La subvenci\u00f3n estar\u00e1 vigente hasta el 31 de agosto de 2022.  Los proveedores con licencia informaron de excelentes visitas con varios j\u00f3venes estudiantes y sus padres.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la Alianza para la Salud en la Escuela, la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria en la escuela es una poderosa herramienta para lograr la equidad sanitaria entre los ni\u00f1os y adolescentes que experimentan injustamente disparidades en los resultados simplemente por su raza, etnia o ingresos familiares. Tambi\u00e9n es una idea que est\u00e1 ganando adeptos en todo el pa\u00eds: colocar los servicios que se necesitan de forma cr\u00edtica, como la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, conductual, dental y oftalmol\u00f3gica, directamente en las escuelas para que todos los j\u00f3venes, independientemente de su c\u00f3digo postal, tengan las mismas oportunidades de aprender y crecer. El equipo de la MHU de HJAHC est\u00e1 preparado para tratar a los ni\u00f1os con absentismo cr\u00f3nico, prevenci\u00f3n de la obesidad e inmunizaciones, pero lo m\u00e1s importante es fomentar un ambiente de amor y confianza.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestro equipo de la MHU es muy optimista sobre el futuro de la Unidad Sanitaria M\u00f3vil.
