Henry J. Austin Health Center Hosts First Annual Community Toy Drive<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Trenton, New Jersey (December 15, 2025) \u2013 Henry J. Austin Health Center, Inc. (HJAHC) hosted its First Annual Community Toy Drive on Saturday, Dec. 13, welcoming pediatric patients and their families for a holiday celebration titled Bringing Smiles Beyond Healthcare<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The health center\u2019s Warren Street location was transformed into a Winter Wonderland, offering families a full holiday experience made possible through local and national sponsorships. Children enjoyed photos with Santa, hot chocolate, pizza and a food truck, with support from Special Pizza City and Oliver\u2019s Essential Food Truck, and toys donated by health center staff, members of the Board of Directors, the Mercer County Correctional PBA Union, Langhorne Sam\u2019s Club, Toys for Tots and other community supporters.<\/p>\n

The Trenton Fire Department participated in the event, joining dozens of volunteers who helped create a festive and welcoming environment for families. The event focused on celebrating children and strengthening connections with families served by the health center.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis event showed what our community can do when people come together for children,\u201d said Chief Executive Officer Charles L. Davis II. \u201cWe are grateful to everyone who donated toys, gift cards or their time. What mattered most was seeing the joy on our children\u2019s faces. One child was overheard saying, \u2018This is the best day ever,\u2019 and that says everything about the impact of this day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The toy drive marked the health center\u2019s first large-scale holiday community event and reflected its commitment to supporting families beyond clinical care.<\/p>\n

HJAHC is a federally qualified health center serving the Trenton community with comprehensive primary, pediatric, dental and behavioral health services.<\/p>\n
