Led by Henry Austin Health Center’s experienced administrative team, board of directors and dedicated staff, HJAHC has achieved accreditation from both Joint Commission and National Committee for Quality Assurance.
Joint Commission accredited means that the healthcare organization works by rules that make sure patient safety and quality standards are followed.
HJAHC also received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance – Patient Centered Medical Home. NCQA recognition is a way to recognize high quality healthcare organizations. Patient-Centered Medical Homes emphasizes care coordination and communication as a way to transform primary care into “what patients want it to be.”
There are 20 FQHCs in New Jersey and HJAHC is one of two to be recognized by both Joint Commission and National Committee for Quality Assurance.
