MAJOR FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations or Designee, the Project Coordinator will plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the assigned projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives as needed
  • Develop a detailed project plan/timeline to track progress
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring project expenditures
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

 
EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS from an accredited College or University

 
PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

  • Must have attained age of 18 years. Applicant must be citizen of the United States
  • Must hold a currently valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Project Coordinator
  • Math and budgeting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
  • Experience in a health care facility preferable
  • Experience in managing Federal grant projects specifically HRSA preferable
