Dr. Sariya Pacheco-Smith
Dr. Pacheco-Smith is a board certified pediatrician who has been on staff at the Henry J Austin Health Center since August 2003. She was appointed the section chief of the Pediatric department in November 2008. She is also the coordinator of the Reach Out and Read program at the Ewing center. Dr. Pacheco-Smith received her B.A. in biology at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She received her medical degree in 1991 from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. In 1994, she completed her pediatric residency in Atlanta, GA at Emory University School of Medicine followed by a one year fellowship in child advocacy and community pediatrics with the Department of Community Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical center in New York City. She is passionate about the future of our children and youth.
