Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, I.T. TECHNICAL SUPPORT is responsible for the implementation, documentation and maintenance of complex, technically oriented and sensitive computerized systems.  Performs related work including, but not limited to, ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Perform Windows Servers Administration function, which includes all network connections, remote access management, file backup and network communications across all sites.  Maintain security check for each off-site PC operation.
• Perform in-depth systems analysis and development of complex, technical or sensitive projects that affect integral administrative and organizational systems.
• Provide technical support of hardware, applications, operating systems, and networking and may participate in applications development and system integration.  Maintain and perform all hardware troubleshooting on servers, including file servers, SQL servers, Domain Controllers, workstations, printers and copiers.
• Provide helpdesk functionality to entire Health Center, assisting users with the operation/repair of computer systems and other technological equipment.  This includes traveling between sites to perform tasks when necessary.
• Setup new user’s hardware/software.  Provide all necessary training on proper use.  Respond to day-to-day requests by staff, via work-order system.  Setup projectors for meetings. 
• Be available after-hours or weekends, when necessary.
• Perform regular performance maintenance checks, cleaning and certifying equipment operational performance.
• Maintain inventory management records.  Update/Modify/Tag new and existing equipment as needed.  Completes technical, administrative and operational training on new equipment as assigned.
• Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.  Complies with all company policies.
• Maintain system applications including Windows OS (Win7, Win10) application under each PC and network applications.
• Serve as a technical expert or specialist in a particular area such as operating systems, applications or network hardware.  Integrate knowledge and skills from a range of technologies to address work assignments and problems of moderate to high complexity.
Perform tasks including but not limited to:  installing/maintenance of software and its various components, including supporting hardware,  expanding capacity through hardware upgrades, adding/removing users, updating insurance tables, creating provider schedules, adding labs, troubleshooting user events, upgrading software to new versions, create/modify provider organizers, modifying provider tables. Perform helpdesk functions.  Coordinate non-resolvable issues with software vendor in a timely manner.    Track all open-ticket issues.
• Ability to interact with a broad range of clients and/or technology support employees requiring very strong communication skills and ability to use a wide range of technical resources for providing technical support to clients.
• Ability to research and implement appropriate new technologies.  Create technical documentation for all hardware and software applications.  Provide administrative reports to ensure up-to-date and accurate information.  
• Greet all patients/clients/customers via telephone or directly in a personal and professional manner.
• Participate in other assigned duties as designated by the Chief Information Officer.
Minimum:  Graduation from an accredited college with an A.A.S degree in Computer Science or related field
Two (2) years’ experience in technical support, helpdesk, information system design and systems analysis, which shall have involved some responsibility in the development and implementation of data processing systems.
Certifications:  A+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA/MCSE desired but not necessary.  We may substitute work history for missing certifications.
• Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the capabilities, operating characteristics and programming of network/server/workstation equipment and software.
• Thorough knowledge of information system design concepts and alternative manual, mechanical or electronic means for gathering and storing data, as well as converting data into useful information.  
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Domain Controllers, and Active Directory Services.  Strong Hands-on experience with Windows Terminal Server.  Experience with Exchange 2010.
• Strong LAN/WAN troubleshooting skills.  Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network hardware/software in a timely and professional manner.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.  Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for frequent interactions with users and managers.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.  Maintains productive, professional relationship.
• Strong working knowledge of data processing, system design, problem analysis and hardware.
Accountable to the Director of Information Technology for all phases of activities.
